Wellsite geologist / Промысловый геолог

The main duties of WSG are:

• Keep control of Mudlogging service, Wireline service, Coring service, MWD/LWD service.
• Especial and close control of sample geological description (cuttings, cores etc)
• Reservoir and pay zones evaluation and characterization
• Wellbore stability control and recommendations
• Formations tops definitions, correlations actual with plan
• Wireline data, gas log, MWD/LWD data interpretation, working with results, analyze data from different service in combination
• Close contact with customer representative on site (drilling supervisor) and Operations Geologist in Moscow office on daily bases and updated on any important issues during well construction.
• Regular reports delivery to customer with approved forms

Professional requirements to WSG candidate:

• Excellent understanding of drilling process and technologies
• Ability to identify incidents and complications during well drilling
• Understanding mudlogging service and ability to do gas log interpretation
• Geological background
• Field experience as geologist more than 3 years
• Fluent English in writing and speaking
• Working regime – on rotations 28/28 days
